Anyways so we were talking about how many families we know choose not to announce their expecting.

your not the first woman to get pregnant.
I know they call it the Miracle of birth but it sure ain't a rare one.
So if your one of these people who choose to stay quiet or you know someone who is like that, can you give me a reason i can comprehend? |

| IN MOURNING |
The angel of death struck eshda3wa's house hold twice today!
Today Sal7oofa, our pet turtle of 10 long years passed away.
She died peacefully in her little pond.
It seems like yesterday we brought you home with your seven brothers and sisters.
You were so tiny, and as you grew older your mischievous side started showing.
Sneaking up on us while we were swimming in the pool!
I bet you thought it was the ocean, I remember creating giant waves and rain for you.
I'm going to miss you, and I feel so bad for not being there to bury you.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, my mom informed me that my aunt ran over Georgina our land turtle as she was backing out of the garage!
My heart is broken
Rest in peace my teenage mutant ninja turtles. |

There was a point in my life when I would have happily given up an arm and a leg to go back to high school.
I loved school. Had the time of my life, made my greatest friends, and been on more adventures than i can count.
The days when my dreams had no limits and the whole world was at my feet.
While I was in high school I would have given up an arm and a leg to go back to being a kid.
Living at my grandmas house. Sharing it with my cousins.
The days when it all felt safe. When everything was perfect.
When the world was as soft as a cloud.
Now that I'm on the brink of graduating university, everything is bitter sweet.
I find myself longing for that wide eyed fresh out of high school girl taking her first steps into the big bad world.
I couldn't help but wonder is that how everybody is?
Do we always long for time that has already passed?
So now I am determined with every fiber of my being to enjoy my NOW. And not wait for a time in the not so distant future when ill look back and long for the days of my youth. Where I still had no responsibility and the time and energy to embark on new journeys, new adventures, to take risks and challenge myself.
NOW is my time and i'm not going to waste it!

| Parental Advisory In Kuwait |
I discovered in the Kuwaiti home the definition of explicit material is obscured. They think the only thing that needs censoring is any physical/sexual content, and that applies to Hollywood related movies only.
What about our khaleegi mosalsalat. The subjects they talk about, the filth they portray. True there isn't any kissing scenes going on, but that doesn't mean it should be watched by children!!
The girls and I were talking about a mosalsal by Fajer Alse3eed. We all know how they go. None of us watch much Arabic TV, but what surprised me was that their little brothers and sisters watch ALL the khaleeji mosalsalat regardless of subject matter.
I'm sorry but a six and seven year old should not watch series about girls running away with their boyfriends/girlfriends. Or husbands beating up wives, or young men stealing and snorting. They shouldn't be watching stories about bastard children taking revenge on their fathers or about rape.
Hell even 16 and 17 year old shouldn't watch this crap.
Parents, what are you thinking?!
Just because its on KTV, doesn't mean its appropriate for everyone to watch!
And what about the TV stations that broadcast these series all year long, should they have some kind of warning about the content?
I think this is a very serious matter and every parent should be more careful about what they expose their children to.

I know he's a lawyer, and I've seen his program on Alwatan Tv a few times, and that's a few times too many.
I cant figure out what he's about. I thought since he is a lawyer, he would be talking about law, answering questions concerning his field. But he seems to venture into everything all at once.
Like the other day when he had a clip about someone on star academy talking about Kuwaiti girls. Is he serious? Star academy? Your biggest concern is a teenager?
I don't get him or his manner. The way he talks and represents his segment is so lacking and not sophisticated. Sometimes his choice of words and use of them verges on vulgarity.
My cousin tells me he's funny, but he's not running a comedy show now is he?
Is he trying to discuss social issues? But how does the way Nancy 3ajram dress a Kuwaiti problem?

I go take a shower, come out and find my mom ordered a whole freaking bucket of KFC
Mama: Do you want that necklace?

Mama: its beautiful!

few days later she gets me the necklace
Mama: do you girls want a bath tub or just a shower for your bathroom
Three sisters: bath tub
Mama: Bath tub ? but a shower is so much better
Three sisters: We like bath tubs
New bathroom is done, and guess what! we have a shower not a tub!
