Whatever Happened To Terry Fox ?
I remember while in school ,every year, the terry fox run benefiting cancer was held.
It was the event of the season.
Hoards of people would gather near SAS
and the marathon would start.
They gave out ribbons. I think they were orange if I remember correctly.
Whatever happened to the terry fox run?
Why did it stop?
Did any of you guys ever take part in it?

i went to the one which was back in 2006 or 2007 in ahmadi.. bas i think it is still running i guess...

ما اتذكره هالمارثون بس اذكر سوينا مارثون عديليه وكنت وقتها اصغر منظم معاهم بالمارثون وكانت الجوائز المقدمه عباره عن درع ونأخذ رسوم اشتراك عن كل لاعب 20 دينار تروح الرسوم لصندوق اعانة المرضى
لكن الحين في مارثون الوطني ما ادري شنو الهدف منه اذا الواحد يشارك فيه بلاش ما فيه اي شكل من اشكال الخير
i was talking about it the other day with a friend. Same question in my head: what happened to the Terry Fox run? Regarding the ribbons, were they orange or red?
God you brought back all those memories LOL!
I used to take part in the Terry Fox Run at school, I think we used to ask people to sponsor us and stuff right? :P LOL! Seems like ages ago!
Terry fox stopped running.

I don't know what happened to it! I went on it back in 1999 but not since then! These events were great, I wonder what happened to them!
I still have my number from TerryFox Run on my board! I was proud that I walked that whole distance! And damn was I tired!
