Seat Belt
I love the seat belt. It is there for safety.
I got into the car with my roommate and buckled up, only to have her laugh at me.
fig: are you for real
eshda3wa: wah?
Fig: you really put your seat belt on
eshda3wa: yeah don't you
Fig: no! I don't know anyone who does
eshda3wa: why not?
Fig: just because.. theres no use for it
eshda3wa: oh really so you think it was invented as a fashion statement
Fig: if i get in a car accident the seatbelt is not going to prevent it
eshda3wa: it doesn't prevent accidents you idiot, it keeps u in your seat so you don't fly out the window

eshda3wa: you think the air bag was put in as decoration?

i have a friend just like fig.. but her reason not to wear it is better ;P
she says that if la sama7 allah 9ar an accedent it prevents u from getting out quickly b4 the car blows up!

funny post although you have to admit that sometimes the seat belt kills you, ba3ad 3omren 6weel inshallah, stay safe.
A lot of people in Kuwait don't bother with the belt. The driving distance is short and the streets are slow anyway.
Seat belts are both safe and dangerous. I've heard stories how their seat belt saved their lives or killed others.
Always wear a seat belt because it prevents you from flying over the window. But wear it on your tummy only. Don't cross it over your chest.
While wearing it across your tummy, you're preventing the risk of having your head decapitated while in a strong collision.
If you want to keep your life and head, wear your seat belt across your tummy only!
it takes exactly 0.5 secs to buckle up...
why people don't bother to use it is beyond me

I'm always the annoying person in the car. whenever i'm with someone, da2eman a6afish'hm to put on their seat belts.
They'd be like "hana, please shut up"
and i'd say "a7san!!! go die!"
This is what i get for caring about them efff :'(
I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt when im driving.
Though i dont wear it when im driving in the passenger's seat.

Seat-belts protect you from injuries secondary to momentum but not much else. Having to wear it every time I get into the car has become an annoying habit of mine.....
The seat belt did save my life in a big car accident!
I can imagine many things that could have happened if I wasn’t putting it on :/

howeh to be honest, i used to be like ur friend awal ma fayyamt il siyara, tinting is so tempting! especially when its really dark like the one i had, but then came the seat belt fine :-/ fa i7taramt 7ali :D

its good that u do.. i do sometimes but i should more, usually when the driver i'm with is driving super fast o a7es ok im going to fly out of my seat if i dont put on my seatbelt :P

I love the seat belt. It saved me more than once. It feels wrong driving without it even if I'm just going to move my car over a short distance :)

My friends used to tell me that as well. Now I force anyone with me in the car to wear it.. this isn't a game, and we aint playin!
I like the old fashion seat belts the new ones u can't even operate ur vehicle well while u have them on.
My car has this annooooying sound whenever the driver or teh passenger don't have their seatbelts on. only way to get everyone to put on their seat belt to shut the beeping sound ;p
