Growing up i never even heard my dad so much as raise his voice.
He always taught us to look at the bright side.
Well apparently my dad has been wearing his shades 24/7 cz nothing seems bright to him!

fact of the matter is your dad might be right .... snap something in two and all you'll find is poo .... the world is turning into shit around us .... sadly ....
well you are right my dad is turning 60 this upcoming Sept. Though he is a Doctor he should be calm and so on he was always been angry on every little thing. Which i hate but mom is cool she gets pissed on the right stuff which i accept openly :P and they get grumpy I guess cas they feel that they didnt do a lot yet and they want to do it thats what I think.
My dear blogger this is called "achievement vs. despair" and I remember studying it in psychology. In short, it means that men at that age when they realize they don't have as much life ahead of them (this is different from one man to the other in terms of age of realization) they start reviewing their lives to see if they have achieved all they wanted to do with their lives or not. It could be simple things they had in the back of their heads (learning a musical instrument, learning another language, being rich...etc). If they feel they achieved it they are very peaceful older gentlemen, and if they feel they haven't achieved them, and don't have the time to do it, they turn into grumpy men. I am sure you could read more useful articles on the web about it, but that's the short story. Good Luck with dad, and treat him right.

I think it's the malyoon pills they're taking daily, and the actual physiological changes going on in their brains, the ageing process is big on the nervous system hufft

Its just one of those things! He has been working a lot and raising a family so you can't blame him too much for complaining after raising all the kids and working!
