There was a point in my life when I would have happily given up an arm and a leg to go back to high school.
I loved school. Had the time of my life, made my greatest friends, and been on more adventures than i can count.
The days when my dreams had no limits and the whole world was at my feet.
While I was in high school I would have given up an arm and a leg to go back to being a kid.
Living at my grandmas house. Sharing it with my cousins.
The days when it all felt safe. When everything was perfect.
When the world was as soft as a cloud.
Now that I'm on the brink of graduating university, everything is bitter sweet.
I find myself longing for that wide eyed fresh out of high school girl taking her first steps into the big bad world.
I couldn't help but wonder is that how everybody is?
Do we always long for time that has already passed?
So now I am determined with every fiber of my being to enjoy my NOW. And not wait for a time in the not so distant future when ill look back and long for the days of my youth. Where I still had no responsibility and the time and energy to embark on new journeys, new adventures, to take risks and challenge myself.
NOW is my time and i'm not going to waste it!
Get ready world eshda3wa is on her way!

We all love to go back to certain timelines... but think of the reason! "because we had more fun" - it means we are not having fun now!
I don't want to sound like a hypocrite but we truly should learn to live NOW and make the best of NOW!!! I just wish it was as easy as it seems

You know...this post couldn't be better timed. Yesterday, I was in one of Kuwait's many Tueday night Diwaniyas and the old men were talking:
"Life was better before, this kind of stuff doesn't happen"
"Even the food was better gubbil"
Excuse me? Life was better before the Internet? Before mobile phones? I have a flat tire, I have to walk 3 miles in any direction to maybe find a working phone...but its ok, life was better because people new how to cook? I think its human nature to find comfort in the familiar, what is known as opposed to the road less taken. Whatever...let those people give in to nostalgia and waste time on what could have been. Personally, I agree...we should focus on what can be...
all i remember from my childhod is my dream to be oldr,stronger and responsible to my decision.. i was a kid that wanna fly and seek freedom .. i didn`t like my parents being so caring and helping to me..i wanted my independity .. i thought being older will make me make life better,easier and funny .. and hill am wrong.. i miss these days wheer everything is rosy and simple.. and save...:)
keep it up and stay positive and u inspire me to do the same .. what gone is gone .. and we live NOW.. so lets live it better
I liked college and I hated highschool, so its not really the previous period was better.
But livin and enjoying your now is the way to go, think about it this way, its only gonna get better
live life as it comes, enjoy every second of it .. there will be ups and downs and u willl ALWAAAYS look back and long for those days...for the most part if ur an optimist or a happy person u will always remember the good days.
I think that Life is what you make of it.

way to go, if you don't want time to go to waste then plan things up, write down what you want and work on getting it, you'll never regret time you spent on getting what you want
