First Day Of Work

Starting work at a new place sucks!

First I have to wake up a whole hour early !!

An hour makes a great big difference!!

I get frustrated cause i don't know how long it'll take me to get to the new place.

As a rule i never ever drive myself to a new place.

I always let the diver take me. Cause i just don't want to go thru the hassle of finding a parking and what not.

Then theres finding where the hell it is im supposed to be at, and getting to know my supervisor.

Then getting with the rhythm of things, and smiling at all the new people im supposed to be working with!

God its sooo stressful!!

I tend to just do the work until spoken to rather than try to get to know people. Makes life so much easier.

I been through it before. But the good thing is it feels like coming back to school after taking a break sort of? There's an exciting feeling of newness that comes along with the stress and the shyness. Hang in there hun, soon inshalla you'll get used to it.

Isn't it that if you start an hour early, you'll finish an hour earlierrrr?
I start at 7:30. Those 30 minutes are stupid, and the ones at the end of the day mean THE WORLD!
Anyhow, I'm not a fan of the first day, or the first week.
Good luck!

1st mabrook on your new work :D inshallah you will be happy there
yam3awda some people, me :(, are looking for work now.
Don't start your work with that attitude that your paranoid of everything, start with a real smile and joy coz just like a honeymoon these days when u just started ain't coming back again so just enjoy them okay?
and well ya one hour makes a huge difference. Best of luck :)

I never knew that smiling can be that bad.

I agree with you about the traffic, this played a major role in deciding where to work. I'd rather live near or next to workplace. at least I can sleep that extra half an hour
