Please Hide The Bride
My friends have been planning this huge gathering for a long time.
Suddenly soos calls and says shes not coming.
Why we ask?
her sister grabs the fone and says we forbid her from leaving the house..
oookay.. WHY?
soos says so you guys can forget the way i look so i can look different for my wedding night.
Her wedding is in a couple of weeks.
Dude.. we have been living together for the past 6 years
two weeks is not gna make us forget ur face..
Hell i cant forget the way u look even if i wanted to!

i know the bride n groom dont see each other for 2 weeks ( muqa6a3a yaz3m ;P)
the bride dosnt wax a month b4.. so that at that night everthing is perfectly gone o mafeeh ingrwoths or small hair that cnt be waxed! >> i dont know! my cuzin was 3adi!
goin to a spa is not weird! so hehe..
guess thats all the weirdness i went through n heard of!!

hmm, one said "yes!" that was weird... lol, actually I have no idea... I didn't know such "hiding" activities exist actually... I'm interested in seeing others answer this :-)
Well i've heard that you shouldn't speak or see your fiance on the last two weeks before the wedding, but with friends too? This is new information to me .. your friend is so excited haha it's cute :D

LoooL... ok I come from a family who used to do the same ... but not for two weeks, it was for minimum one month and it could be more ... at this time she will only be in her room, only one person sends her the food and never out to the sun.... and trust me, she gets to change ... as her face became very relaxed, and not affected to sun plus all natural things she puts on her full body specially face...
But now, the bride goes out till the night before weeding as she needs her final fitting for her dress, bas 6ab3an she don’t get socialized few weeks before the big Day ;)
Hilarious! I was all over the place before my wedding. I actually went out for breakfast with my best friend on my wedding day.
Hmmm walahee ma agdar afeedich i never had a wedding party were i was the glowing bride...
bs the only two strange traditions i have come across are:
1- When they bring the Dazza for the bride she will hide and not come out... benama ahal il me3res insist inah come come yeboha o ahal il 3arosa ygolon laa laaa ... madry laish don't ask me!
2- This one is concerning the groom... Gabil La yzfoonah they strip his clothes off o make him wear new one jdam allah o khalgah. Inah y3ni marriage clothes or whatever!!!

LOL I know the bride gets busy and spend her last few weeks in spas, salons, relaxation! So yeah but she get busy and we dont get to see them not for the fact that they want us to forget their face!! Hahahahaha
In my friend's case, I would go see her at her house instead of her coming out ;-)
apparently your friend wanted to try plastic surgery but found it too risky or time consuming so she has to stick with her looks.
She should get this "black in men" device to flash your memories.

Wow! Woman do the strangest things before their wedding day, I find out more and more about all these details and it seriously surprises me about what woman do! Its seriously scary!
hmmm... I didn't talk or see my "B" for last two weeks before the big day.
I went shopping at Fanar on my wedding day... while everyone were busy preparing for the party. Oh! and I ignored their calls! ;)

I haven't encountered any wired bride bonanzas but some of them may conceal alot of details of their big day to be a surprise "as they claim", but when you see it you'd be disappointed as it wasn't worth the surprise. Kel hatha 3ashan el 3ain!!

It's stupid! I was "adviced" not to go to gatherings or go to wedding parties and stuff a few months before my planned wedding. I hated that! Thank God I don't have to do it :p
People usually stop seeing each other at least a month before the wedding though, to "miss" each other. I guess that would make things really hot on the wedding night if you weren't really exhausted and want to sleep because tomorrow morning someone will knock on your door with the sunrise to congratulate you and serve you el9aba7eya meal!! :p
- no make up for a month before wedding
- no attending weddings

i rly hate it , why hiding ? some of them don't want people to ask them about " tajheez" or something like that ?
