Doctor Needs A New Brain
Shaikha had a sore throat so her parents took her to the clinic. The Dr there did the routine things, checked for a fever, listened to her heart and peeked down her throat.
Dr : oOooooh you have very sever tonsillitis
Shaikha: tonsillitis?
Dr : yeah your tonsils are infected
Dr writes down a bunch of medication, antibiotics and so on.
Shaikha leaves the room and goes to her dad who was waiting outside.
Shaikha: the dr said I have a severe case of tonsillitis
Dad: tonsillitis?
shaikha : yeah as in my tonsils are infected
Dad: are you sure she said tonsils?
shaikha: yeah
Dad: she didn't say something else
shaikha: no dad she said i have tonsillitis
Dad: honey you had your tonsils removed when you were 5!
To the Dr I say : malat 3alaich!

wow! seriously!!! I think the dad should go talk to the doctor!
I always thought of that, how can you have an infection in something that does not exist, but when I asked they told me: You can have inflammation of the tissue where the tonsils used to be. Some might still say the name is wrong though
chika

I think they should report the doctor.
3adi 3endena 7ata law 6aglech 3erj bergobtech eygoloon ur tonsils meltahba.
Perhaps they grew back :P
Give the dr a break. She didnt make a fatal mistake. She probably had pharyngitis which is almost the same thing.
If ur gonna report doctors for every little mistake they make then believe me, ur not gonna have any doctors left, in Kuwait, or the whole world !
Doctors are not Gods.
They make mistakes, like any other human.
Jala man la yas'ho ya jma3a.
chirp
she should have told her i had em revomed and embarrassed her
soul
lol
ee ashal shay
jewaira
anything is possible!
DR
maybe u sympathize cause you know how hard it is.
But when your a dr theres no room for mistake.
We dont have to wait for her to kill someone so she pays better attention.
Ya3ni i cant drill the wrong tooth then say its ok its not fatal!
NO ROOM FOR ERROR PERIOD!
how can she diagnose something thats not even there!
Nothing wrong here. Tonsils grow back:
"If even a small bud of tonsil or adenoid tissue is left behind by the surgeon, the tonsil or adenoid may regrow. With regard to tonsillectomy, the risk of regrowth depends greatly on technique. "
lol... dont worry about... the way doctors speak, tonsilitis may have nothing to do with your tonsils anyway! they all use wierdo words
loooooooooooooooool
poor littel thing
hathy al kuwait 9al 3ala e nbi
There is no such thing as no room for error, cuz its impossible. Human beings were made to make mistakes.
Im not sympathising with her cuz i know how hard it is. Im just being a little objective. If u had told me some surgeon operated on the wrong organ, yes i would be with u and i'd say that doctor really does need a new brain.
Anyways, in a couple of years u will graduate and u will be practicing and u will see how easy it is to make silly little mistakes that have no harm on the patient's health and how the patient's or their families will pounce on u as if u were trying to kill the patient not heal. And how they right u off as incompetent doctor just for that small insignificant mistake. It happens. It happens a lot. Especially in a country like Kuwait, where there is no respect for doctors and no trust in their competence.
