Spoilt Brats

Why are the youngest children in the family spoiled brats?

their always the rudest
always get away with everything

they do things their older siblings were never allowed to do at their age!

The bigger the gap between the youngest and the sibling right before, the ruder they are!

WTH

do parents just get too tired of parenting!

I think ya they do :P but another reason might be, the environment around them.

Well its not always they youngest luckily I have 3 good siblings. One younger than me by 2 years and the other 2 are 8 years and 9 years younger than me :P

They dont always listen but they are ok ^^

because the youngest is the spoiled one, parents adore the youngest more than oldest, all their affection will go to the youngest.

I love foton (6y/o), and adore Lujin(4y/o), but my heart is for Jenan (4 months old), with her teethless smile, i just want to smother her, and snuggle her and just die for her ^_^

isn't the youngest the cutest? :P

I think as long as the parents get older. The spoil their youngest kids will be.

That's the advancement in technology I guess!! It ruins the parents minds!

February 20, 2009 at 12:25 AM

ha ha ha .. that's a very reasonable reason .. parents got bored of parenting !! never thought of it that way .. but you're 100 % true ..

Well yeah!!

Parents get tired by their last child that they don't have the will to fight and ground and yell at their child.

BUT.. what my parents did in my case is that I have my eldest sister breathing down my neck. She's only 5 years older, but she's stricter than my mom and in our house even if she was wrong, myseer alasin ili akbar minni.

See I'm no spoilt brat, it depends on the parents and the elder siblings who help by raising the younger ones.

no they dont get tired, bas they get old, and so different from the way they live as youngsters. fa the difference does play a major role.. oo specially when the kid comes at at an age where between the kids and is next older sibling 10 years!!!

February 20, 2009 at 2:59 AM

yes;p

February 20, 2009 at 3:24 AM

I would have to agree to a degree.. I'm the youngest,, but I got beat to a pulp and got away with very little! Punished a lot more... to think of it I didn't get away with much! lol

Its the case with some families, and other families it isn't the case!

February 20, 2009 at 1:13 PM

prolly 'cause their parents are too damn lazy/ worn out .....

February 20, 2009 at 4:05 PM

It is so totally true, but there is good news mixed in there; the parents are so busy looking after the youngest that the older ones can slip under the radar more easily, LOL>

February 21, 2009 at 1:38 AM

It depends on the parents, and their family.
im the youngest and im not rude to my siblings, bil3aks full of respect and would do anything they would ask, even when i was a kid.
the new generation is crazy :P

February 21, 2009 at 2:36 AM

i guess its this new generation !! they are nuts !!

February 21, 2009 at 7:04 AM

probably because the parents are tired of parenting like you said..

February 21, 2009 at 1:52 PM

Being a parent i can tell one major thing is that young parents don't agree on the parenting ways.. Example from my home: I love my kids but don't give them presents or anything they ask for but their father comes home with something for them at least 3 times in the week.. so i can't simply tell them you are not getting this or that..

another thing is that they are so open to the world, they have so much information from tv and the internet.. another example form my home lol: if I tell my kid don't do this he would always ask for a reason and goes on of the UNICEF children's right something (they learn in school about children's right of speech).. blah blah blah..

and then i would say I am your mum he'll be like we are all humans so technically we are all the same :?!!?!!!!

well, that is my 12 year old, he's very smart, he doesn't use bad language and is loving and caring.. but thing is, when it comes to discussing something, he would go on and on and on .. it's very tiring..

February 21, 2009 at 2:38 PM

do parents just get too tired of parenting!
yes they do! umii galat'ha oo b3d el mushkella enna 7ta ana adale3 my younger brothers, oo akther shaii a5er wa7d.. 7adii ma36eeh waih!

mushkela =\

February 21, 2009 at 3:49 PM

That doesn't happen in our house, i think its because theres barely any age difference between us all + our family is very traditional. Since im second last, my lil sis & i aren't really allowed to be very rude, because we have that 'respect the eldest' going around in our house ;p even if the eldest is wrong!!! so my big sis is the BOSS in the house! im more scared of getting my eldest sis angry than i am of my mother ;s since she is sort of like my second mother ;p

February 21, 2009 at 5:20 PM

Well I agree with you regarding the age gap part , i have a younger brother sometimes i feel as if he has a vito against everything else we had been forced to !

Klshay mamnoo3 gabel 3alaina
al7een ysaweeh o 3ain gweya b3ad !

The RUDE part is soo true !
