Back Pain

My back, neck and shoulders are killing me!
And work doesn't help.

I try to adjust my posture, but sometimes i find myself sitting in the weirdest positions to access whatever I'm working on.

When I get home all i want to do is lie straight down.

I have a set of neck and back exercises that i try to do as much as possible, and
I try getting weekly massages.

Ive been to a few places, but nothing has Wowed me so far.

I really don't want to cause permanent damage to my back.
Ya3ni ma teswa 3alay.

Anyways

What spas do you guys frequent?

And what kind of massages do you like?

In Dubai I mostly go to Sensasia... Thai Massage is the BEST... it fixes you up.. but you will be in pain the next day :p

I have the same problem and it's seriously killing me...it's been a pain, especially when it comes to me studying and I try to adjust the posture of my back and I can't.

My back pain is like the position highlighted in your pic, it's so frustrating and it really hurts.

By the way, what exersises do you do, if you don't mind me asking...it's just that I don't want any permanent damage like you said and I'm getting really annoyed by it.

Thank you :)

When I first started working years ago I developed back pain too and the doctor advised me to guy a medical chair which I did and the pain subsided with time. He also advised a certain way to sit when you're working.

It's worth vising your doctor for and make sure you invest in a good chair that gives you good supports. I actually bought two identical ones from IKEA- one for work and one for home.

the best treatment for back ache is swimming, horse riding and dont wear high heel shoes.

Posture is very important. I have the same problem too, I guess it is caused by posture, the bed and the pillow we sleep on. Its very important to ensure the bed, the pillow the chair we sleep or sit on is comfortable. Try to change the position.

I strongly recommend you see a chiropractor

September 9, 2009 at 11:05 AM

i think you should check it out before having someone massage it, you never know what those pains could be. Sometimes certain pains are not good to have them treated at spa's.

September 9, 2009 at 11:06 AM

i tried out a few places here in kuwait and my fav so far is spa time (in terms of the treatment itself)

oo i like the balinese massage the most.. very relaxing

No spas for me in Kuwait they are all bad >< never heard of a good one.

September 9, 2009 at 12:46 PM

you need to join a gym and do some serious exercise! I had this problem before .. but the pain disappeared when i started working out!
i like spa time! hot stone massage:)

Hi,

I once hurt my back when I was challenged to lift my 120 kg friend and my lower back muscle ruptured. The best way was excersizing and stretching. Matshoofeen Sher.

This is going to sound really lame but I really enjoyed reading your blog. Actually I was very bored at work and I think I read all your posts ( Since 2007). :P I think you have a very attractive personality. I think I am starting to like you in a weird way. I just had to say that. It does not really mean anything

P.S This is my first time actually posting a comment in a blog and I really just wanted to tell you that. Alah ykather men amthalich

I hope this does not get posted... :P
