Congratulations Kuwait =)

I heard about this news on the BBC radio earlier this morning.

When asked, one of the male voters said, he voted for a woman because the men in the parliament doesn't have credibility anymore.

Nuf said.

May 17, 2009 at 4:01 PM

Wala 7aram 3ala Thekra il Reshidi... She's much better than all of the men canidates of her tribe.

May 17, 2009 at 4:16 PM

Wooo HOOO, Kuwait, and all the young Kuwaitis who worked so hard, so energetically, to make this happen.

I think the Islamic block made a huge strategic mistake when they supported the fatwa against voting for women. They overplayed their hand.

May 17, 2009 at 4:59 PM

Kafo Wallah
all the best for the Kuwait and Kuwaitis people :D

Mabro0o0ok!!! :X

May 17, 2009 at 6:19 PM

first of all congrats, second I didnt vote i hate politics. But, I wouldnt say that the war has ended. We have to support them against the people in the parliament because most of the government people and back if they make the same ministers then we have no change and the parliament will be discharged fast. Now it will be harder on men to go against women I prefer most of the parliament women and little of them are men. Because I think most of the kuwaiti women are organized and they can change a lot.

May 17, 2009 at 6:21 PM

It was my first time and they won! I guess my votes were a blessing :P
