Know whats weird
u know whats weird, i start reading blogs having no idea who the person is
and then suddenly it hits me, i know this person.
Like yesterday I'm reading a certain someones blog and BAM
oh mi god it couldn't be, could it?
it could! its the dude! the dude is over at our house 24/7 when we were kids
we grew up together.
Wala its fun
bs then i don't know if i should tell the person hey i know who u r or not
it excites me, its like a kinder surprise, but i don't know if its gna excite the other person, annoy them, OR their just gna think I'm weird :)

Today I attended a seminar at uni, they had this guest speaker dude
a dentistry genius
He is lecturing on the advances they made in the field blah blah blah
i got bored after 3 minits
wasn't really listening to him
i was thinking about lunch, cz my stomach was singing fairooz tunes to me
THEN something caught my attention, the guy was talking about a vaccine against tooth caries!!
what what WHAT!!
is he for real??
he continues to say if things go right blah blah blah, dental caries will cease to exist!
excuse me!!
someone shoot the dude!
what is he trying to do!
kill the field of dentistry
this is a catastrophe
I'm gna be unemployed before i get a chance to get employed!!

what motivation! so what i should just take out operative dentistry from my curriculum, not bother to learn it!

the study is still in its early stages, and right now whatever they developed has too many risks and side effects.

Get rid of caries like we got rid of small pox!

I think i need anger management classes, before i burst out and cause permanent damage to one of my patients .
I attended a Psychology seminar (yes anything to get out of the clinic)
about how to deal with patients with "special needs"
but ill leave that for a different post, its really interesting.
Its amazing how most people have this fear of dentists
I've seen many visibly shake at the site of me
whaahahahaaaa
makes me feel powerful in an evil way

When I was in grade two....in public schools in kuwait...there was a dentist AT school...and they used to come with their white robes and white masks over their faces and call the students name...and most of the times they have to drag the student to their office??
now seeing that...I was terrified...and when it was my turn...I walked with my dignity...they didnt drag me...but the dentist was so DAMN MEAN she was screaming at me every 5 secs "breath from ur nose"
and when she finished checking my teeth she didnt give me a sticker just like my classmates cuz i breathed from my mouth and apparently made her sick....Golay ameen...allah ykhetha inshallah....ow malat 3aleiha....ow ehwa aslan mo kafo etseer dentist....

For US non medical students..i didnt know what caries are..so i 'googled' it, and its the 'Microbial destruction of teeth' so i've learned something new today..thank you :) And no worries, with all the sweet shops that are opening in the gulf (Krispy Kreme, Chocolate Bar, etc..) I think you'll have PLENTY of teeth to play with!

well,you can't think like that about medical advancements, think of it as a way of doing other good (not boring) dental work, let's call it "dental beauty", polishing teeth, and something like that.
If you wanna think in this way about dental work, then it should be same about cancer, aids and rest ;)

I would DEFINITELY want someone to let me know if they know me and read my blog. But I do have a freind who told me she'd hate it if someone told her because it restrains her sense of privacy when she writes. The way to assess whether or not to tell in my opinion is by gaging whether it's a personal blog or not. Mine is not a very personal blog so it's not all that big a deal for me if someone figures me out.
