Tooth Paste

I read an interesting article.
actually i don't know how interesting it'll be for u guys :) bs u can learn a thing or two.
a very common question I hear is what type of toothpaste should i use ?

Tooth pastes act as a vehicle to provide a good and sound aesthetic smile. Here in this article you will be enlightened to the available types of tooth pastes and their different functions.

The tooth pastes in the markets are categorized in to chiefly three groups -

Group 1: Abrasive tooth pastes

These types of tooth pastes are also referred to as smokers tooth paste because of the action of abrasives to remove the smokers stain.

But it can have a side effect based on the operator’s style. I mean the operator with aggressive style of tooth brushing and those who use hard tooth brush should definitely avoid these type of toothpastes as it can easily abrade away most of your teeth.

(these are the types of toothpastes that feel like they have sand in them)

Group 2: Chemical tooth pastes

These groups of chemical tooth pastes have their action on the surface chemistry of the tooth surface.

By acting on the tooth these pastes will prevent the plaque/tartar, the white mass to get attached to the tooth. These pastes also contain peroxides for whitening and also have baking soda which is a mild abrasive.

It is used in condition where the decayed tooth is more that is the person has a high caries activity.

(usually referred by dentist but are widely available)

Group 3: Cosmetic tooth paste

These groups of tooth pastes are the most commonly used. These pastes have titanium dioxide in them. The action of these compounds is that they will go and fill all the crevices present in the tooth and give an illusion of whiter teeth.

*All three groups basically differ on these aspects but all the tooth pastes have fluorides added to them at around 500 – 1000 ppm/tooth paste.

Worlds Most Extravagant Handbags

Chanel Diamond Forever Bag - $260,150.
In December, the company will debut 13 of these diamond and alligator handbags. Each is a stepped-up version of the classic Chanel shoulder bag, with the iconic Chanel "Cs" encrusted in a staggering 334 diamonds (a total of 3.56 carats) set in 18-carat white gold. The alligator skin is farmed and treated with a matte finish.

Hermes Birkin in Croc Porosus Lisse - $148,000
What makes this bag so expensive is not just the leather used -croc porosus lisse - but also the 10 carats of diamonds set in white gold and placed on its clasp. There are only two such bags available for purchase in the world

Lana Marks Cleopatra Bag - $100,000
Each year, Marks produces one Cleopatra clutch for retail. This year's limited edition is made of metallic silver alligator skin and a clasp encrusted with 1,500 black and white diamond set in 18-carat white gold.
Leiber Precious Rose - $92,000 -
incorporates 1,016 diamonds, 1,169 pink sapphires and 800 pink tourmalines, all set in 18-carat white gold.
Chanel Croc Biarritz - $43,150
Chanel debuted this black crocodile tote several months ago. Three are available in Chanel boutiques in New York City and two in Los Angeles. External pockets were closed with a discrete double "C" logo zipper. Its interior has dividers for the unorganized.

LV Tribute Patchwork Bag - $42,000
Though this tote, made of 15 different Louis Vuitton patterns cut up and reassembled, has gotten mixed media reviews, the four available in U.S. stores have sold out. But 20 are available in Louis Vuitton boutiques throughout Europe and Asia.

Gadino Bag by Hilde Palladino - $38,470
Upon first glance, the crocodile Gadino Bag made by Norwegian designer Hilde Palladino doesn't appear to be anything special. But look closely and you’ll see the glint of 39 white diamonds strategically placed in clasps made of white gold. It has the same price tag of an SUV.

Fendi Selleria Bag - $38,000
A bag like this one can be made to order with sable and chinchilla, two of the world's rarest and most luxurious animal skins. It's far from precious but big enough to accommodate necessities such as a wallet, keys, cellphone and makeup bag.

Marc Jacobs Carolyn Crocodile Handbag - $30,000
Its hefty price tag hasn't swayed Marc Jacobs fans from nabbing this bag; it is one of his most popular accessories. Made of purple crocodile skin, the quilted Carolyn comes with interior pockets and separators.

Nancy Gonzalez Porousus Bag - $30,000
Made with a rare, almost uniformly scaled crocodile skin, the Porousus Bag can be customized by color, skin, size and hardware.

Devi Kroell Alligator Hobo - $28,990
The softened triangular shaped tote, made of skin with scales of near-uniform size, is large enough to carry even a small laptop. It has internal pockets for added storage.

LEIBER Dandelion Suede Gator Handbag - $15,000
With yellow a popular spring color, this alligator LEIBER bag is sure to make a splash this season among the bag-obsessed. It comes with two external pockets and a strap as well as a clasp made of 18-carat gold. Only four have been made of this style and are still available.

Midnight Cravings

I've been having these midnight cravings ever since i came home. I'd be snuggled in bed and suddenly I'm hungry. No I'm starving. Oh my god I'm dying from hunger!!

When it first started i though maybe its because i didn't have any dinner. So i got up and raided the fridge. I found left over mashed potatoes. I microwaved just a tinsy winsey bit (yeah right). I drowned it in salt and lemon, then gobbled the whole thing up and went back to bed. I couldn't sleep the rest of the night cause i got awful heart burn!

Then a few nights ago i started having these whole wheat croissant to make myself feel better ya3ni I'm going healthy.

For the past two days I've been having junk food. Cup cakes. Looots of cup cakes and ice cream.
I actually take the time to cutup some fruits and decorate my plate!

It needs to stop RIGHT now!

any suggestions?

Graduation Dinner

Since every happy occasion in Kuwait is associated with food, its a social obligation for me to throw a graduation dinner.

I graduated so I have to feed the masses.

I want something small, just my aunts and people close to me. The ones that are really happy im done, who actually care about me and spent all those years worrying and praying for me.

My parents on the other hand want all of Kuwait to celebrate.

My dad called me the other day and said i want you to pick a salah in any hotel you like and throw a big party..

and me saying shino 3ers! Its not my wedding dad, our house is more than enough.

And hes like la baba eshloon your a doctor now lazim something big!

Im a FAKE doctor dad, a dentist. Its not a big deal.

Yes it is a big deal.

is it?

No really im asking you is it?

Should i really throw such a big party and get overly excited

or are my parents just overly joyous for me?

The 70's Finally Here

While i was sitting in a cafe overlooking the Nile, i came across a very interesting article in the paper.

The police arrested a couple (man and wife) arranging swing parties. No not the dace swing, The exchanging sexual partners kind of swinging.

If your not familiar with the term, during the 70's people were at the height of sexual revolution.. mainly because they were always high on something or another. People had "open marriages" in which they were allowed to date other people, and sometimes exchange sexual partners. You take my wife I take yours.

Apparently the sexual revolution hit Egypt. The couple, own an apartment in Giza which is dedicated precisely for their sexual activities.

At the time of their arrest 44 couples have signed up for an upcoming party.

All supposedly decent people, doctors, teachers, bankers. Seemingly happy families. married with kids.

During interviews with a few of the couples the men claimed it was a turn on seeing their wives being ridden by other men.
And a few of the wives claimed its all in the name of fun, for us to spice up our marriages.

Ma3booch hatha allah yhadakom moo spice!

While discussing the article over the fone with waleedan he shrugged (i didn't see him shrug but im sure he did) and said swinging is pretty big in Kuwait too.

Allah ybashrik belkhair!

If i see my partner screwing someone else i would die on the spot. No. id kill him first then die on the spot.

On the bright side.. the 70s is finally= here.. so inshallah we'll join the rest of the first world in the not so new millennium soon.

*p.s- for those of you 18 and above you should download SwingTown
- 13 episodes based in that time period, gives u a vague idea on what its all about.

More On Medusa

I decided not to get involved with the whole Medusa peter piper saga.

Someone else got involved in a different way ..

A mutual friend of Medusa and the elegant wife.

First let me tell u a little about Medusa .. She is an educated woman. Who struggled her whole life. Married a psycho and eventually got divorced. she spent years in court trying to free herself from his grip.

Medusa claims to be a hard core feminist who belittles hijab claiming it holds back women, and is fighting to make having more than one wife illegal.

She speaks fiercely of men who cheat and women who ruin homes and familys ...

Until she became one herself.

When the mutual friend talked to her and told her
he is not separated from his wife, 7aram 3alaich ele ga3d etsaweena..

She answered saying
min 7aga, its his right to marry four. If its not me then hes going to marry someone else.

How can you do that to another woman
she asked

and Medusa answered
its her fault for not knowing how to keep her husband happy..

Its funny how peoples values suddenly change when its to their own benefit..

and if that wasn't bad enough she looks at mutual friend and says

look mutual, i struggled my whole life, and i have been divorced for many years now. I don't really need a man in my life. I don't want him, all i want is his money. He is kind and very generous, and i plan to take full advantage of his generosity. I want to live my life.

you want to live your life by causing misery to someone elses?

take it up with peter piper not me. Im not friends with his wife, i owe her nothing and have no obligation towards her so put it to rest.

not even as a women, as someone who went though a failed marriage and divorce?

i said give it a rest.

What do you say to that, how do you answer?

Sad ... just sad how familys get ruined and so much pain goes around because of these freaking midlife crises men go thru

is it just me or are mid life crises stories zayda hal ayam?

Suckiest Situation Ever

I just had one of the most awkward conversations in my life.

Sitting with a couple of friends in the cool breeze enjoying a nice cup of tea

When X said: oh remember Medusa the divorced lady i told you about

Yeah i remember you telling us a miserable story on how her husband was a psycho who used to beat her up or something along those lines..

Well she met someone, says hes filthy rich, and he keeps buying her all those expensive gifts. From the god awful rags she was always in to ready to wear prada.

Is she in love with the guy or what exactly?

I dont know about love, but shes happy.

Akeed betkoon happy with all the prada shes buying

The thing is hes kind of married

Kind of?

Hes separated actually

You must have heard of him..

Who is he?

You know Peter Piper?

The name sounds familiar but i don't think i know him

He owns a magic pipe and has a house in one of them fancy places

You mean the place next to the place with the thing?

*eshda3wa chokes*

OH MY GOD THAT'S MY FRIENDS FATHER

HE IS NOT SEPARATED, HE IS ANYTHING BUT!!

DO YOU KNOW WHO HIS WIFE IS!

HE GOES FROM THAT ELEGANT WOMAN TO MEDUSA!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!

My head started throbbing, i felt sick, so i got up and did the only thing i could do just then. I went to the bathroom and threw up 3 days worth of food.

I feel so bad for the wife and kids
the man is a grandfather for crying out loud.

X says i should tell my friend.. but how excatly?

and what do i say .. hey umm i know i haven't spoken to u in ages, but i just wanted to let u know ur dad is cheating on your mom after nearly 30 years of marriage.. just thought you would like to know.. call me whenever ur in q8..

Its not easy! and do i really want to get involved?

7esbe allah wani3ma ilwakeel!

God i wish u guys can see medusa .. ugh..

I just dont know what to do ...

what do i do?

X says i should send my friend an anonymous email.. she says give the wife a chance to save her marriage.

Madre... madreeee.. i dont know if thats wise

*There's so much details left out, the wife doesn't know anything and X thinks she should be warned.. and I think ... I dont know what I think..

Naeem Khan

Im in love

Its official

Naeem Khan is currently one of my favorite designers.

Everything i have seen is so elegant, so beautiful, so chic.
I look at his dresses and i just want to hug them.

Seriously i just want to hold them in my arms, and sometimes cry over the price tag.

I fell in love with a dress that was around 75000 $.
So im convincing myself to fall out of love with it, and its breaking my heart.

Fashion critics arnt raving about his collection calling it over the top.
But i am!

One thing i dont like though is that his dresses are so HEAVY. They weigh like a ton! But am in love so i dont care!!

Does villa moda q8 carry his collection?

If anyone would like to buy me the 75000$ dress i wont say no ;p
